Competition Rules:
Independent judges will be tasting throughout the event and will award a First, Second and Third place winner.
Taster’s Choice Award: We’ve simplified the process this year. Tasters get three votes for their favorite BBQ.
1 Tasting Ticket = 1 Vote, you will receive 3 votes.
- Information for Competitors:
- Competitors will come with BBQ-ready and can begin setup between 10am-11am. The tasting begins at 11 and will continue through 1:00.
- Competitors should prepare at least 125 samples.
- All the paper products are provided.
- Side dishes are optional. Some competitors do have a side to serve but isn’t required.
- The bbq can be any type such as tacos, smoked meatloaf , brisket, shrimp and many others. Be creative, it doesn’t have to be just pork and chicken!
